- CVLX recorded throughput in excess of 1.5 million sheep in 2006-2007 and has a ten year throughput average in excess of 1.3 million sheep and 56,000 cattle
- CVLX conducts sheep sales, prime and store cattle sales as well as pig sales
- The current facility has operated at the Delacombe address since the late 1860’s
- On the 1st May 2010 Regional Infrastructure assumed responsibility for operations and management from the Ballarat City Council following its purchase by Palisade Investments
- CVLX was formally known as the Ballarat Livestock Selling Centre (BLSC)
Regional Infrastructure Pty Limited operates and manages CVLX on behalf of Palisade
- Palisade and Regional Infrastructure have commenced development of a new facility to replace the existing yards. To be built on a greenfield site, the new site will be strategically located and be designed to utilise new technology, providing a state-of-the-art livestock exchange to service livestock producers of Central Victoria
